Assuming you're in the northern hemisphere where it's winter, it could just be the amount of available light in the room, especially if it's been cloudy at all. If you were home, Id suggest turning a light on to see if that makes a difference. The camera might have been right at the threshold of color vs. B&W and the small difference in available light might be the problem.

Some "tech " help please. I have 4 cameras / 2 inside & 2 outside . Up until 2 days ago all cameras recorded in color during daylight hours. My basement camera would normally show in black/white as it is darker there. As of 2 days ago , my main floor camera only shows up in black & white (day or night ). Not sure if this is a camera issue or if I need to change a setting ( I did not adjust anything to cause this) Coincidence or not , there was a firmware update on the system yesterday . I am now out of country & do not have direct access to the camera. Any thoughts / resolutions much appreciated. Thx
