      <description>&lt;P&gt;The skins would only slightly slow down the cooling. If plugged into AC power, enough heat may be generated to keep things working but you'd have to test.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The Q cameras are indoors-only but work through glss so you can put them in a window and still get the coverage you need in many cases.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;The skins do help a lot if the camera is in the sun, but not at night or in the shade. &amp;nbsp;I have found my cameras will charge in the sun with skins on and ambient temps are in the teens. &amp;nbsp;Charging normally shuts off at 32°F. &amp;nbsp;The black skins absorb the solar radiation and warm the camera slightly. &amp;nbsp;I assume the skins will help keep the camera running at extremely low temps as well.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To achieve consistent low temperature operation in all lighting conditions, a camera needs to be powered by wires (Direct or POE). &amp;nbsp;Even electric cars are challenged by extremely low temps and have to expend some energy keeping the batteries warm. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
