I have 4 cameras installed in a workshop. All was working fine untill I connected 2 of them via a long USB cable, I left the battery in and just connect a general USB unit as the is only one included in the package while there are 4 cameras is the box. Now the 2 connect to the power are offline and no longer connected. There was one message that the battery need to be replaced. What am I doing wrong?

Battery USB Issues

A normal USB only puts out 5v.... the Pro/Pro2 require a qualcomm type adapter ( like one supplied ) that put out 5v and 9V.

5v to run and 9v to charge

The 9v is required to charge the battery pack in the camera ( charges to 8.4v ).

So the only thing I can think of is the long run lowered the voltage to the camera ( so it was not enough to run ) and the battery drained

Use the supplied orignal adapter without an extension cable and recharge/test one of the cameras
