no there isnt, some are creating VIP emails and having the email notify the user but I just find this clunky.

Im surprised Arlo never thought about this, as my iOS device uses the same alert sound for loads of stuff rendering the alrts from Arlo nearly useless, a bit like their software really. I am saddened by my experience here and am praying they fix their software team/issues as I have invested quite a bit in their hardware.

Also, if you look around on the community there is a thread somewhere recently where people have described a crude workaround by using a dedicated email account and an email client like MS Outlook to receive that dedicated email feed from your Arlo account.

I keep my devices on silent mode all the time, so I had never even noticed the alert sound. Normally, I just see the alerts pop up on my Apple Watch and take it from there.
