Arlo Pro 2 Doesnt Detect Motion

So I just setup my two Arlo 2 cams. The Garage cam is doing great, detecting audio and motion.

I noticed the garage would pickup my 6lb cat walking by, but the deck cam would not pickup my 60lb akita. So when I got home I did some testing and used the "motion testing" feature.

The garage cam lit up all the time everytime. I tried the deck cam and never got an orange light. Is this unit possibly defective?

First restart your base station.

Check that the rules for your recording mode include the deck cam recording on motion and that the motion sensitivity is set to 100 to start with

I tried that with no luck. Its set to record motion and audio and upon waving my hands in front of it nothing happens.

Sidenote: Does the live chat not work?

Remove the camera from your system through the app or web interface. Hit the sync button on the base and then the sync button on the camera. When it resyncs, recreate the rules for this camera in your custom modes. Test motion sensing again
