Hi

I want to use an arlo pro2 on my entrance, when motions is detected, I want my entrance light to turn on (these are osram lightify - sylvana lights, connected to a lightify Gateway and working with Alexa). naturally the lights should only turn on when it is dark and not during day light...

is that possible?

thank you for your help and suggestions, Dominik

Hopefully your Arlo cameras have been discovered as devices in your Alexa smart home app.
In the Alexa app:
Click the top left icon to open the menu
Click Routines
Click the + sign at the top right
Click When this happens
Click Device
Click your Entrance Pro 2 camera
Click Save with Detected being the highlighted circle
Choose the time frame for the routine
Click Add action
Scroll down a little and click Smart Home
Click Control device
Click your Entrance light
Click Power
Click Next
Click Save

I also have an Alexa routine where alexa says "There's someone at the front door" when my front door Arlo Pro camera detects motion between certain hours of the day. It's a nice feature from Alexa
