&lt;P&gt;Go the modes section and edit the rule for each camera and where you have a choice to either record video or do nothing, select Do nothing.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;But that defeats the purpose of owning the camera system. Have you tried to either reposition the camera/cameras or ?have you tried to set the cameras to the Disarmed mode when you are not using them. Maybe use a schedule?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can shut off motion detection by setting the camera mode to “disarmed”.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;unfortunately the latest version of the Arlo app for iPad does not work with “live view” (the new App 2.6.1 sucks. &amp;nbsp; it was a “downgrade”), so you will need to use another device to watch the dogs.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
