Replace CCTV camera with Arlo Pro 2 Outdoor cameras with wired power supply. Is it possible?

We have 7 existing CCTV cameras outside the house that are hard wired into the walls (18-gauge pair cable) and that end up indoors connected to a single power supply for all seven cameras. Want to replace all seven with Arlo Pro 2 Outdoor cameras with wired power supply. Of course it would make sense to use existing hard-wiring to power the new cameras instead of drilling brand new holes and run new wiring. Would be great option for people seeking to replace older CCTV cameras.

Has anyone done such a thing before?

(i) What is the Volt Ampere rating of the Pro 2 power adapter? Is there a single power supply to feed 7+ cameras? I would hate to use seven individual power adapters.

(ii) Outside at the cameras, is there a connector that can join the existing 18-gauge pair to micro-usb female inlet in the back of Arlo?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I can’t recommend Arlo because there are just too many issues one after another. Everything from pixelated videos to problems with its app. It’s just unreliable as a security cam. Do your research and read the forums and app store reviews. Have you looked into Nest or Ring?

The Pro2 has a Qualcom type adapter that supplies both 5 & 9 volts via the usb ( to run and charge )

you can pull the battery and run on just 5v usb ...rating is 5v @ 1.6a

No all adapters are single

Not to my knowledge, unless you convert the current ac lines to a high power 5v system ( thats a DIY project )
