I plugged the base into a Wi-Fi access point instead of the main modem. Would that stop the camera from syncing with the base?

Is the extender set up to connect to your router? If not, that would prevent the base from connecting to the servers. Can you use a phone or laptop that connects to the extender to access the Internet?

I wouldn't expect that setup to prevent camera sync'ing unless there was an interference issue happening

Hi
I’m sorry, I’m not technical. I have Wi-Fi extenders (access points) set up around the house. I plugged the base into one of the extenders. Both green lights on the base are on. I placed a camera next to the base and tried to sync. The camera light on the base remains orange and will not sync.
Also
I just rebooted the main modem and it still does not sync.

If the Camera LED is solid amber, that means the base needs to be claimed. Remove all devices in Settings, My Devices and start fresh. Use the Add Device button on the Devices tab to claim the base and then sync the cameras.
