Cars going by have a good IR reflection ( which is how the cameras detect motion )... Since the camera detect people to a max of 25 ft, try to eliminate the roadway from the field of view.

Also , each camera is adjustable for the sense level used... for different locations, many cameras require diff sense levels

Check the FAQs for adjust sensitivity

Arlo Pro 2 - Motion Detection Problem On One Camera Only

Hi all, hoping someone can help.

i have an Arlo Pro2 at the front door and another at the front of the house. The front door camera’s coverage does overlap with the front’s coverage. On occasions, only the front door camera detects and records motion and nothing is detected on the front’s I.e when a car drives by, the detection is from the front door and not both. The front has a wider coverage.

It doesn’t happen all the time and seems to happen when I need front footage as opposed to front door’s.

thanks,

Dave.
