Do I need A Subscription To Record 24/7?

To be able to record 24/7 do i have to suscride to a monthy subscription or can i plug a storage drive into the base station and use that to record the 24/7 footage to. Or do i not have the 24/7 option unless i subsribe?

You have to subscribe to a CVR plan

Hi bcdixon33,

The cameras would need to be plugged in to be able to take advantage of this feature/subscription. Currently the Arlo Q, Q Plus & Pro 2 Support this. I have supplied a link with some information regarding the CVR Subscription.

What is continuous video recording (CVR) and how do I get it?
