Arlo Pro 2 microphone problem

I have installed the Arlo app on my IPad with a software version of IOS 10.3.3.. The speaker works to each of the 3 cameras but I cannot get the microphone on each of the 3 cameras to turn on. Oneach camera display the "ear symbol" will not highlight therefore the microphone will not activate. I bought the system 2 days ago. Wondering if this was a bad mistake and should return the product for a refund if the functionality is not as advertised. Anyone please help as this is very frustrating, cheers, Stu.

Have you checked the app permissions in the phone settings?

The bsettings on the IPad for the Arlo App has the microphone set to on. The individual cameras have the microphone set to on. I am puzzled. Tham

Try reinstalling the app and restarting the phone.
