&lt;P&gt;You can run the PRO with the battery installed with the AC power... It will not damage the battery ( battery charges to 80% even tho it says 100%, 80% is a safe charge for the battery to sit at )&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The external charge tube ( option accessory ) will charge to 100% when done outside of the camera&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have read conflicting answers as to running my Arlo Pro cameras on AC current (inside) with battery installed or without. I would like to leave the battery in as a &amp;nbsp;backup if the power goes out but I'm wondering about overcharging the battery if left in continuously. Help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
