    <description>&lt;P&gt;Your drive can be up to 2 TB in Fat32 format...&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The power from the USB port is limited, so some HD need external power but ALL have to use a USB cable to attach to the base.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I found a 32gb speed stick is plenty of room for backup. and is easier to use since you cant read directly from the drive anyway while attached.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As to record time , it is what the max is , 2 mins&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If I want to hook up a 500MB hard drive to the base station,&amp;nbsp;what make or model HD do you recommend.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AND - If I have an external hard drive connected can I set the Arlo Pro for continous recording as long as there is motion, vs just 2 minutes?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
