Arlo Pro Power Options

Two questions please :

1. Can you use the Arlo pro plugged into the wall so as to not need to change batteries, BUT still keep the batteres inside as a back up power supply in case of power failuer to the home ? If so, why is it that only one power cord is provided when you buy a package with 4 or 5 cameras in it ? Is it necessary to buy the additional power cords seperately ?

2. Do all of the cameras work off the one base station, like the way the Pipers do ? If so, does the base station automatically reset itself in the event of a Wifi interuption ? The Pipers did not for me and had to return them.

Thank you very much.

1) YES, Don't know ,ask Netgear

2) YES, All the Arlo and Arlo Pros sync to the base, the base can handle a max sync of 15 cameras with proper service level. while you can stream a max of 5 at the same time. YES, The base will auto start up if wifi or power goes out under most conditions... remember its a link it the chain so your modem and router must come up properly too
