    <description>It would only work if the NAS can be seen as a USB device through it's port. Most of those ports are input only so won't work.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;All questions regarding this subject are simply too old and don't apply to the new Arlo Pro Base Station.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regarding Arlo Pro local recording, is it possible to make it to a NAS device instead of over USB. I have a NAS system on my network, but no drive on a USB close to the station.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Many NAS units have an input-only USB port. It's a long shot but it may be possible. Otherwise, only a USB drive of some sort (thumb drive, etc.) will work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Two NAS unit I'm considering (QNAP TS-453A and TS-453B mini) both have USB (3.0 and 2.0) ports&amp;nbsp;- are you saying that these NAS devices wouldn't work as a USB storage device when&amp;nbsp;connected&amp;nbsp;via one of these ports to the Arlo Base Station?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
