I have a Arlo video doorbell that’s basically useless. I paid 1 year for video but it was too high for me to continue paying. I assumed I could use the doorbell and video via WiFi with no additional charge but I was wrong. I get a delayed notification but by the time I get to the door it’s too late to see what triggered it and video doesn’t show anything unless you’re fast enough to open your app at that moment. I will be looking for another video doorbell.
I also tried to use out. id.me for the military discount but it doesn’t work either, invalid.

You can use the doorbell with local storage when connected to a compatible base station or Smart Hub if you want to save events locally. Do you know how long the delay is for the notifications? does this occur on every occurrence?
