in arm away mode - automations - it keeps not switching - ( arrive hm - to standby mode)

many times - ( not changing any settings - arm away - then goes to "enable all modes" - so it dont work ( arm)

this am - in arm away ( im not hm) all functions ( away - arm hm & stand by) all enables - so sys inoperable.

i reset PC - online & on my 1 phone & automation's still change by itself

so what good is a sys that turns itself off - by it self ???

LGq70 phone & win 11 hm PC

i live in a rural area - so very little chance any interference - unless its a ufo ( haha)

no really --why is geofencing not working

old app - finally was working ok - so why a app change to this - that dont work ?

this app is imposable to use. pc - my arlo - i set it to arm away ( when leave) then go to stand by ( when arrive). & the app wont stay correct. it will arm ( going away) but wont disarm when arrive - even after camera trips. the app changes all by it self - again today i reset it. im not stupid - but this app is very hard to use - its all i need it for - no other fancy stuff - just arm away & disarm when arrive. on line ( u tube etc) is no help. & i use a manual arm ( when hm) that's it. it wont stay on those settings

Check your forum settings. Or just select the three dots in the top right of the thread, and select "Subscribe"

I agree it's too complicated. If you post screenshots of the automations, then I can help troubleshoot.

But mask out the geofencing maps, to protect your privacy.

i ride a motorcycle need to arm when i leave & disarm when arrive - its why i bought the arlo. other wise i have a gun & i shoot

I don't work for Arlo, but am willing to help out. But if you want that, you will need to post screenshots of your automations (as I requested in post 2).

i understand - ( old guy here) but its simple - i set the routine - then the automations. on phone & online ( pc)

& they will just change all by itself ( so it dont disarm when i arrive).

ill ride sunday - ill try the screen shot thing - but i have to load pics to pc then add to discussion. my use of phone skills are ltd.

on the phone app - i reset away/ arrive - then i saw on the upper right - it had a +DONE - SO I HIT THAT & so far as of today ity armed when leave then disarmed when i arrived _ maybe that's it ? - that "+done) is not on a pc online app)

i'll keep trying it - & keep you posted thx
