HOW DO YOU GET THE BASE STATION TO STAY CONNECTED TO WIFI!!!!! I SEE NO ANSWERS HERE! $400 wasted!

Arlo Pro 4XL

The base station connects and turns "blue" for about 5 seconds, then orange blinking light - EVERY TIME! I have it right next to the router. It has been like this since I bought this system 4 yrs ago! I gave up shortly after I bought it and stowed it but now need to use it.... same problem! WHERE do I find the answer to fix it? All I find are dozens of similar complaints but no "solution"!!!

So one option is directly connect the camera to your home wifi (and not use the base). A way forward if you are planning to get a subscription.

The base station doesn't connect to your home wifi. Instead it connects to your router using ethernet. Is that what you've done?

It could be too close. If the two radios are too close together, the antenna system can get overloaded (either in the router or the base - or both). I suggest putting the base far away from the router as the ethernet cable will reach.

Are you still using your original Arlo account?

Is the base still listed there? If so, is it off-line?

What model is the base station?
