    <description>&lt;P&gt;The arlo base stations require connecting to the internet via an Ethernet cable/port.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is usually to a network router/modem device feed with the internet.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am not savvy with Samsung but expect it is not possible using the USB c port on any phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only way might be possible is to setup a wifi hotspot with the phone and get a wifi extender that supports an Ethernet port to connect the base to.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I’m in desperate need to work out how I can connect the Arlo pro base station with a Samsung device (usb c).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I intend to use the Samsungs mobile data so I can view the cameras remotely,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any help would be greatly appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You was absolutely correct.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i purchased a usb c - Ethernet adaptor.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;enabled usb tethering on the Samsung device and connected the cables.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can now remotely view the camera with ease and I get notifications when there activity.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;many thanks for your help&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
