VMC4030 Works only when connected to power source

My VMC4030 has a new fully charged battery. The blue LED will only flash on when connected to a power source. Once the power source is removed the camera goes off line. How do I correct this problem?

Do you have another camera? If you do, I suggest swapping the battery and seeing if the problem moves with the battery or stays with the camera.

If it stays with the camera, you are probably out of luck, as it is not repairable.
