Striations in camera

One of my Arlo Pro cameras has latitudinal striations in it. They look to be from the colors of what appears in the camera, but it creates a terrible picture. Anyone else had a similar issue. We thought it was a Wi-Fi issue, but an extender did not fix that problem, and it shows to have good signal.

Are they static? Or do they move during the video?

They're static.

It could of course be a hardware failure - which would not be repairable.

Though it's worth

cleaning the lens (if you haven't done that).
removing/reinserting the battery to reboot the camera
