somehow, base stationVMB4000 is not recognizing Pro camera Hc4030 even though while Sync is happening, I get blue light flashing for several minutes, then amber for few secs, then to steady blue. Then all silent. Everything ran for a few yrs. Any ideas for successfull linking the two

It is very annoying: several days am made to go around a vicious circle. Can a tech support help me get VMB4000 base stn detected? Then add a camera - in a straight forward manner? What is @ rebording” and why you get “ highlighted “ area to correct while there is no such thing one can see?

I recommend factory resetting your base station and then onboard as if it new. Follow the instructions here: https://kb.arlo.com/1057976/How-can-I-reset-my-Arlo-SmartHub-or-base-station-to-the-default-values
