I have a camera that will run on USB power, but not on the battery. I have several known-good batteries that are fully charged that don't work in this camera. The app only shows the camera connected to power, not the battery. Any suggestions on how to get it to again recognize that it has a battery?

Start by power cycling the base station, if not then take the camera near the base station remove battery, power externally and manually resync it to the base. Leave for 10mins and then install the battery. Resync again and leave for 10mins.

I'd check the battery contacts in the camera. If you have another camera to use for comparisons, look for debris or bent/out of position contacts. A careful cleaning may help.
