Push notifications very intermittent. About 15-20 secs late after detecting motion?

My push notifications are very intermittent. The camera will start recording when motion is sensed but the push notifications might be 15 to 20 seconds behind, if at all. I have three cameras and they all lag like this. All of them are 50 to 100 feet away from base. I can understand there is a distance factor but like I said I get the video. Firmware 1.17.0.0 3953 6ba79e5 Model VMB4000r3 OS Windows 10

Are you using smart notifications, if so it may take a while for the arlo server to identify the object.
I am not using smart and get notifications within 5 seconds.

I am, but I only recently started using smart notifications to try and get better reaction time. I think I'll move my base station to another room. Thanks for the reply.

Has it always been an issue or has it just started occurring?
Try doing a live view to see what the lag is as you may have a slow internet connection. Should be no more than 5sec.
Power cycle base station again and test again to compare.
