Try power cycling the base and remove and reinstall the battery in the camera. Remove the camera from Settings, My Devices and resync. Any luck?

A possibility is that either the camera or battery is to blame. You can switch batteries around as well as power the camera via the power supply and cable to see if that helps. However, if either is bad you'll need to either open a case with support or swap at the store.
