Can I remove battery if it's plugged into power for the Arlo Pro?

I know from searching the forum that the pro2 will work with the battery removed if it's plugged into power. Is the same true for the pro(1)?

Yes, they both will function without the battery installed on ac power ( usb 5v , so u can use almost any usb adapter with more than 3/4a output )

Also you can leave the battery in and it will not over charge.
