Don't have anything go wrong after a year because you are out of luck. We have a solar panel that had been charging fine for over a year then stopped. Arlo said too bad out of warranty.

At least your TV, car etc warranties expire you get an option to repair. If your ice maker goes out you can get it fixed they don't tell you too bad get a new refrigerator or if your ac on your car goes out, too bad get a new car. All they did was run down the troubleshooting checklist which I had already done. Did not offer any solutions like purchase a new charging cable which is probably the problem, just said too bad.

Are you sure it's the solar panel? Have you 1) tested with another camera 2) can you test the pins on the cable with a voltmeter ( IIRC it should be near 6v )?

Not much can really go bad with panel , tho much can go bad with contacts due to weather/water

I'm sure its the solar panel cable. Attached another camera, all charge with ac adapter.

Especially with small electronic devices, but even with larger ones like TVs, it could easily cost you more to repair than to replace. In any event, Arlo doesn't offer a repair capability. You could test the cable theory by using another USB cable connection - would take some effort to get the right pieces (type A female on both ends adapter) but possible. Using the Contact Support link at the bottom here may also get you a new cable (if they feel generous).
