Hey Nw04jen71,

If your motion detector icon (three lines and dot) is black, there may have been a chance that your camera isn't detecting motion and won't record. Try using the motion detection test to see if motion is being detected where your Arlo camera is placed at. You can read here on how to use it: How do I use the motion detection test for my Arlo device?

30 minutes on phone to guess where....the Philippines...these big profitable companies love cheap outsourcing - does Bezos really need an extra billion that he cant employ American citizens that arent reading from a crib sheet in broken english.

So camera plugged in via mains cable - doesnt record motion - switch it to battery power and it does - cable supplied 4 weeks ago - first one didnt work - second one worked fine but has now obviously affected motion detection - this product is not ready for SALE - its got your amount of technical issues and bugs....very poor - steer clear and go for something like Blink or Swann or even Cammy
