When listening to audio, I hear a constnt pulsing kind of noise but when I go out to the camera there is no noise. I'm not sure what it is picking up. Aslo, I get wha appears to be snow coming accross the leses yet it is not snowing. Would fog influence this?

I can upload a video if it helps.

I'm assuming you have Pro cameras which have had some issues around clicking/beating sounds. That may or may not be what you're hearing or is just an artifact of the audio hardware (I don't know if there's an AGC control built in or not). Just one camera or multiple?

The "snow" is likely to be dust or anything else that reflects IR well in night mode. Or do you see this during the day, too? Fog could be an issue since it's made up of tiny water droplets. I got "snow" myself last night although it was too warm and doesn't happen without an obvious source. It's foggy out there right now so...

As to the noise, check the HARDWARE version of the camera... there were a few that Netgear replaced for two types of noise... the "clicking beat" and what I call "techno music " , sort of electroinc warble.

Contact Netgear Support with the H version and discribe the noise.
