If the wifi unit has no ethernet ports, I'd get this and connect it to your wifi and plug the Arlo base into it

http://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-range-extenders/EX6100.aspx?cid=wmt_netgear_organic

The best would be to get a switch.

https://www.netgear.com/support/product/GS105.aspx?cid=wmt_netgear_organic

Remove one Ethernet cable from your existing router and plug it into the switch and then plug a patch lead from the switch back into the vacant port of the router. Then you can use any of the remaining sockets on the switch for the Arlo.
