&lt;P&gt;I believe it depends on the settings of the camera and the local storage device. &amp;nbsp;What exact NETGEAR device do you have concerns with? &amp;nbsp;Are you referring to the Arlo camera?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The Pro base station can record to a USB device so you're covered during an Internet outage. &amp;nbsp;However, you have to unmount it from the base and install on a computer to view the videos.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
