Sounds like some sort of hardware issue. If swapping the chargers/cables/batteries (one at a time) between cameras doesn't get you a decision as to what's bad, open a case with support:

Arlo Pro Permanent Power Supply

I bought my Arlo Pro 2-camera system 3 months ago, and it worked fine. Firmware 1.092.0.23_32920, Hardware H11. Recently I decided to have both cameras permanently connected to the mains, and used the supplied charging cable for one, and purchased the Arlo smart power cable and adaptor for the other. I haven't removed the batteries.

Initially there were no problems, but now I find one (but not the other) of the cameras shows this message, even though there has been no interruption to the power supply:

"This Arlo device is offline

Please make sure it is connected to the Internet. Visit support.arlo.com for help."

The problem generally happens overnight, and I can get rid of the message by simply switching off the mains supply, then back on again. I have noticed after recovery that the battery has virtually fully discharged, even though it was 100% the day before. Anyone know the resolution?

I've temporarily overcome the problem by fitting a timer to the power supply, switching the power off and on during the day - this has stopped the "This Arlo device is offline ...." message, but doesn't address the root cause.

I'll think about doing the swapping of cameras, batteries, etc later.

I have 3 of my camera's connected to a permanent power supply and after the last base station update I noticed one of my camera's was showing battery drain overnight. I have since discovered the IR lights on this camera are continuously flashing while not recording therefore draining the battery. I took the battery out and unplugged from the power supply hoping to reset the camera and fix the issue but it didn't work and once I plugged the power back in I got the message "unsupported power supply" so I removed the battery and have the camera just running off power. I haven't spoken to support as I've just had a hip replacement and am unable to climb up a ladder to remove the camera and resync to base. My IR light's on this camera still continuously flash all night but the camera still records and is connected to the base. Just check if your lights are coming on without recording.

That sounds like a hardware failure, not a firmware one. Open a case with support for an RMA:

i have purchased a solar panel for my Arlo pro 2, it was working well, suddendly i get a notification that i have to charge the camera, when i went to go look at it, it looks like water got into it and solar panel stopped working, for 80 dollars and to last 3 months is pointless, do not recommend the solar panel charging port. see attached pictures.

I contacted support with my issue and they agreed that the camera's were defective however as they are no longer under warranty they won't replace them. These particular camera's are less than a year old as they were replaced under warranty for the same reason. I am now changing systems as I needed more camera's for another area and don't want two different systems and I'm not buying more arlo camera's to replace the two defective one's due to the issues I've had since Feb 18 before then it work great.
