&lt;P&gt;Had I known... I wouldn't have bought the arlo pro... What use is a front door camera that&amp;nbsp; messages constantly each time someone passes&amp;nbsp; or a tree moves in front of my door. That&amp;nbsp; requires me to constantly check the video stream...&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Maybe someone found a workaround through Smartthings? or&amp;nbsp; another way?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What I'd like is: when the arlo pro camera detects motion, it just takes a snapshot and saves it somewhere... I use arlo cameras through smartthings. Has anyone found a way to do that? THrough arlo app, or through smartthings app? Many thanks !&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The only Arlo branded cameras that can take snapshots ( TMK ) are Q cameras and Baby...&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;they allow snapshots when motion is detected and they are saved to the library&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Read the FAQ here on best camera positioning. A common user fault is to aim the camera too high, with too much in view. Position it so it only gets what's truly needed. No need for trees, street and sky to be in view since people detection is 25 feet at best.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
