I searched but everything was from at least a year ago, and none of them had any real answers.

Some of my Arlo Pro cameras have been malfunctioning lately. Once a camera sees motion, the motion indicator (orange running man in PC app, or 3 lines and a circle in the Android app) stays on indefinitely, or until I click the live view. It never resets itself, and the worst part is, it doesn’t record the motion that originally tripped it in the first place.

I have literally tried everything. I have removed and resynced each camera, I have pulled batteries, I have power cycled the base station, (with power switch AND power cord) I have cleared the cache in both my PC web browser, and the android app, I have set motion sensitivity level so low that nothing will trigger it, I have done every combination of power cycle and/or resync cameras that I can possibly think of.

Any ideas why all of a sudden these cameras decided to have a mind of their own? Any help on this topic in 2019 is greatly appreciated.

Since you've already tried everything else, the fastest solution would be to reset the system and start fresh. Yes, it's a PITA but continued troubleshooting with no solution is worse. Be sure to note all settings, modes, rules and schedule before resetting to speed the rebuilding.
