I have been an arlo user for years and never had any issue like this. A month ago I one camera was completely dead, worked with Arlo support went through debugging and they replaced the dead one.

So the way it starts off, the camera says offline from the app. When I physically look at the camera, the red lights are on as though its recording or live view in progress, but it just stays that way for ever. Then I unplug it, red lights are still there, remove battery and wait for a while put it back in and/or plug in power supply and then no lights at all.

This is my second camera where arlo pro is completly dead. Yes I have tried charging the same battery, new battery, plugging into power source, etc. All the steps that I had previously done with the support.

I wanted to check if others are having this issue. The only difference in how we are using these camera's. All other camera's are rarely used for live view, they just record and once in a while we use live view. The two dead camera are the only ones that we use live view for extended period of time as we are monitoring the kids. Just like majority of the other camera's they are plugged into power supply. Firmwares are all updated.

Have you swapped chargers? I wonder if that could be the issue.

Here is the test that'm doing now, just battery but using live view just like what we do but may be I"m going to try for a few days. Then I'm going to swap out the powerstrip and then swap out the power supply.

I just wanted to know if this is a common experience with others and if there way any pattern someone has found. If others have found issue with their chargers, then I will swap that away first.
