I have. I have an office at the bottom of my garden with the base and 2 cameras. The other camera is on the main house. So the base will either be close to the office or the house.. Thanks for the reply. I'll order a new base.

I have one of 3 cameras that needs to be much further from the base station than the other cameras. The battery on this camera is lasting about 3 days from a full charge and I often get connection issues. I am presuming that this is because the camera is loosing connection and constantly trying to reconnect. I can't move the base station so I think the solution is to get an additional base station. I can position this much closer to the problem camera and plug it into a range extender. Can I buy the cheapest base station...VMB3000 and this still work with the Arlo pro system I have?

Yes, any base will work with your cameras. However, have you considered using that WiFi extender to reposition the existing base?
