    <description>&lt;P&gt;No, won't work. However, a WiFi extender would work so you have strong WiFi for your other devices and an Ethernet port to plug the base into. Of course, you'd need power for both the extender and the base.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I was considering installing arlo pro onto my boat. The dock has wifi available, does anyone know if it is possible to connect the base to a laptop via Ethernet cable. Then connect the laptop to the internet via wifi?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
