Arlo wireless setup needs to be on location?

Do you have to be on location to initially set system up? Have someone at location that installed the base station to router and synced the cameras but unable to locate any device from my Arlo app account

I think you do have to be on the same network so that you can find the base station. After that, you can sync cameras from anywhere
