Exchanging defected camera what does RMA number mean?

Returning arlo pro defect due to update on Nov 21 2018. Giving me another one but they want me to write the RMA number. Is that what is written under it or case number. Appreciate answer Thank you

Do a screen capture print out of the info...more is better than wrong

I did an RMA about a year ago and if I remember correctly, they wanted you to write the RMA number on the outside of the box that the old camera was being shipped back in.
