Arlo Pro - compatibility in India

I bought Arlo Pro in the US and planning to use it in India? Will I need any special equipments to make it work in india. I have the universal adapter that can help plug in US adapter pins to Indian switch boards. Do I also need to use any step down transformers? Has anyone ever tried this?

The appropriate power adapter is included for the country in which the product is purchased. We don't recommend using a power converter as third party accessories could cause damage and void the warranty.

So there is no way to use Arlo Pro 2 Base station in India? This is very strange!
