record mode changes back to do nothing on it's own

very concerned. can't figure out why this keeps happening. I have tried setting it from my ios app and from my computer and seems either way it happens. If this function doesn't work the entire system does no good. I really do not want to have to return this but I am on my first week and only have a limited time to return if I can't figure out how to resolve this. Please help. Thanks.

The last ios app release has been glitchy, and should be fixed soon....

Try if able to set on a PC at https://arlo.netgear.com/ and it should carry over to the ios app.

Consider uninstalling the Arlo mobile app and download a fresh version from the app store. Do you still see the same behavior?
