Why must I sign a privacy document?

I've enjoyed my camera for over two years yet today I'm being required to sign a privacy document prior to looking at my cameras. Any one else not happy about this?

This is due to the recent addition of new features to the Arlo Smart subscription plans. The terms of service have been updated to reflect these changes.

This is not acceptable. I am referring to attorney general and telling everyone possible to avoid Arlo. I have recommended this product many times. No more recommendations.
