Since you removed the camera (post #1) you need to resync it as if it were new. Briefly press the base sync button (don't hold it) and then press the camera sync button.

Since I got no help with the offline status of one of my cameras, I tried to wing it by removing the camera and adding it back. I followed the instructions to add a camera, but I got no lights of any kind--neither blue nor amber, neither solid nor flashing. Since I never got a low battery message on this camera (as I did on the other one) and since there is supposed to be a light signal for low batteries, I don't know what to think about this situation. I would like some advice about what to try next.

Pull battery pack and close cam, plug in the supplied ac adapter with cable, watch to see if the led flashes blue on front once when plugged in.

If it does, then its the battery, if not it may be the camera.

I did not get an AC adapter with this camera set. Nor do I see a place on the camera where anything can be plugged in.

If you have the one that takes 4 batteries, you have the Arlo HD.

check the battery placement as follows;

It could very well be the HD. I don't know if I kept the box, and the model isn't written on the camers or the base station. It is 4 batteries, and I decided to put new ones in. Then I got the blue light, and it looked as though it had synced the camera. However, when I went to the app on my phone to see if it appeared then, its search for it failed with "No Arlo device found." I did put them in correctly.

All of these problems started only after I got a new iphone. Could be coincidental, I guess, but both cameras malfunctioned in different ways right after that. I'm back to square one with a message to make sure I'm connected to the network.
