300 Feet is a "line of sight" measurement. Anytime you put walls, objects, buildings, etc in between the base and the device the range will decrease. This is true for all wireless devices. (cell phones are a good example, think how outside you get a better signal than when inside some buildings)

How many walls (and what type: drywall, brick, vinyl siding, etc...) do you have between the base and the problem cameras?

I have a VMB 4000 base station. These cameras are a complete joke. They lose connectivity beyond 30 feet. I have turned off all other potential interference from other sources and it still happens. The claims made by this manufacture of range is up to 300 feet is a complete falsehood. Is anybody else experiencing the same issue? The solution of moving the base station to a more central location is the most ridiculous solution if that negates connectivity of other cameras that were once working.
