Hi,
I can't seem to find in the camera power is battery and also USB or POE? Anyone know? I'd like to actually plug it in since I have an outlet close by.

Also, what is the purpose of the base station? I already have a wireless router.
Thanks.

Mavrick3,

1. The Arlo Pro is powered by a rechargeable battery. It can also be plugged in using the included Power Adapter and cable (this limits the device to indoor use as the camera is not weatherproof once the charging cable is plugged in).

2. The Arlo Pro syncs to the base station, not your Wireless router.

Take a look here for more information on the Arlo Pro: Arlo Pro The world’s first and only 100% wire-free, weatherproof, rechargeable HD smart security camera with audio and 130° viewing angle
