There are over a dozen threads on this issue with 1500+ replies. Arlo is aware of a battery drain issue for some people and is testing a fix now. There is nothing the end user can do to remedy this.

I have 4 cameras and batteries lasted around 5 months thru a winter in Michigan, charged them with Arlo charger and now I get about 6-8 weeks and batteries need to be charged again, I have updated the software and it’s just as bad.

what remedies can I take to resolve this poor performance - really disappointing for the money spent

Our engineering team is aware about the rapid battery drain that some users are experiencing and is currently investigating the problem. We appreciate your patience and understanding about this and will provide any update as soon as we have more information to share.
