Just purchased an Arlo Pro, however the wi-fi isnt pushing 130ft! Is there an extention plug or something I can use to increase the distance from the base station?

You could use a longer ethernet cable to get the base closer to the cameras.

You could also use a wifi extender to extend the range of your wifi and then plug the base into an ethernet port on the extender.

Bottom line is that you need to get the base closer to the cameras.

If the cameras are wide spread then you could look at installing a second base.

Thank you for the quick response, I tried the longer cable, so I guess I will try a wi-fi extender- any suggestions on make / model?

Just make sure that you choose one that has an ethernet port, many do not.

Also, many of them plug directly into a wall socket. Stand alone ones will have greater range.

Also decide what speed you want eg, AC75 AC1200 etc.

I have the Netgear Orbi installed but that may be overkill for you unless you want a whole home mesh type wifi system.
