The updated Android App has a bug, it doesn't allow to change the description of the rules in Armed mode anymore, if you change the camera name and action, the description will not change.

Are you using the master account or one that was granted access? If the latter, you have to manually change the name for yourself.

Master account, there is no way you can edit the description of each rule in the Android App now. See picture, all four description cannot edit in Armed mode.

Yeah, it's been that way for a little while now. Not sure why the capability was removed. You only option is to create a new custom mode so you can correct things.

I had installed the very old version Arlo app, changed the Armed mode descriptions to rule 1, rule 2, rule 3 & rule 4, then installed the latest app. It is ok now.
