It has been shown in the past that normal power outages ( short time ) and or cable down , the systems usu come back on their own.

BUT, not 100%... what many have done with remote locations, is added a UPS to the base and router/modem... this stops the gliches that can occur now and then.

In long term base outage ( not tested on Pro base ) the Arlos lost sync with the cameras after a lenght of time( actually the cameras try to ping the base and after time quit )... this is not fixed remotely and it requires resyncing.

The UPSs stop this problem as the cameras never knew the base wasn't there ( as its still powered ).

Set up the Arlo Pro at my cottage out at the coast. Came home (3 hours away) It worked for hours and sent great pictures. Ahhh. Peace of mind. But then it stopped working and tech support is telling me every time there is a hiccup I'm going to have to drive down an fix it. My Apple Home items reset themselves after a hiccup. Is this true about the Arlo pro? That CANNOT be!!! Going back to Best Buy if so.
